Our oldest couldn't care less about saving any of it, but our youngest doesn't want to part with any of it, even though she hasn't used it in a few years. I knew nothing of it until a Bitty Baby came to live at our house last Christmas. Then I became aware of the corresponding literature: the historical novels as well as the "Care and Keeping" books. I've never been big on dolls, but I am a big believer in everything this brand stands for. It must be bittersweet to see this era ending in your own daughters' lives, but amazing to realize they have grown and taken what they needed from their dolls, and are emerging into their own new era of becoming young ladies.
